Margate Bayfront Residence

Basking on the bay in the beautiful town of Margate, NJ, this home was inspired by the romanticism of relaxation to create a haven for beach living. 

Looking to do something singular than the classic blue hues of a beach home, the clients leaned into embracing the green, the color of sea glass and bright whites, iterative of the crispness of white linen, while incorporating materials characteristically found in nature along the coastline. With the home located on the bay, the focus of the furniture planning was centered on sourcing functional, succinct, and modern pieces to harmonize with the fantastic location.

As a new build construction project, the client sought our studio early on to assist with the major selections for the home including paint colors, lighting, hardware, tile, window treatments, countertops, and flooring. In addition to finish selections, we performed full space planning services, furniture selections, and coordinated purchasing and styling.

The project is currently under construction with an anticipated completion in early Summer 2024.
