Fishtown Terrace

Situated on the outskirts of Philadelphia’s vibrant Fishtown neighborhood, this 500-square-foot rooftop terrace offers a haven for relaxation and entertainment. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant hues of California sunsets and the playful spirit of bold patterns, the design seamlessly integrates function and style.

To maximize the space and create a truly inviting atmosphere, careful consideration was given to both aesthetic and functional elements. Existing AC units were discreetly concealed, and clever storage solutions were incorporated to maintain a clean and uncluttered appearance. A mid-century-inspired sectional sofa provides a comfortable and inviting space for conversation and relaxation, while a contemporary long acacia wood table encourages dining and socializing.

To delineate the various seating areas and add a playful touch, bold patterned rugs by Aruba and Jill Zarin were strategically placed. These vibrant rugs, featuring bold colors and patterns, create a striking contrast against the neutral furniture and add a touch of whimsy to the space. The overall effect is a lively and inviting rooftop oasis that is both stylish and functional.
